Brand guidelines
Mandala Networks is a founder-led engineering practice. This page defines how the brand appears — the mark, the palette, the type, and the voice — for anyone producing correspondence, advertisements, or content on our behalf.
The mark
The mark is a circuit mandala drawn in a single color. It takes the ink color of whatever surface it sits on: near-black on light, near-white on dark.
The standard lockup sets the mark beside the wordmark — "Mandala Networks" in Geist Medium with tight tracking. The mark stands alone as an avatar, favicon, or watermark.
Clearspace. Keep clear space around the mark equal to one quarter of its height on all sides. Double it when the mark sits beside other logos.
Minimum size. Render the mark at 24 pixels or larger. The 16-pixel favicon is the only sanctioned exception.

- Use theme ink Render the mark in the surface's foreground color.
- Give it room Respect the clearspace at every size.
- Keep it still The mark itself never animates; motion belongs to the tracing effect around it.
Don't
- Recolor The mark uses the neutral ink values and nothing else.
- Add effects No gradients, shadows, outlines, or added fills.
- Distort No stretching, rotating, or cropping.
- Crowd No busy backgrounds, patterns, or overlapping elements.
Color
The palette is neutral. Restraint is the identity; motion is the only ornament.

Print work uses rich black on paper white. The palette defines no print inks.

Geist carries everything. Geist Mono appears where numbers and code do. There is no third typeface.

Exact sizes adapt to each medium. The tiers and their relationships stay fixed.
Voice
Every sentence we publish follows four rules.
- Plural
- We write as "we." The practice speaks; individuals are named when the fact matters.
- Concrete
- Name the tool, the system, the outcome. Drop any adjective that could describe anyone.
- Measured
- No exclamation points, no hype, no promises about results we have yet to deliver.
- Plain about scarcity
- We take a limited number of clients at a time, and we say so.
Motion
Electricity traces the mark's real linework — hairline pulses that appear, travel, and fade. The structure stays invisible and still. Nothing rotates. Reduced-motion preferences always win.
